HEllo!

People crave connection.  Brene Brown, in her book Daring Greatly, says that we love to see vulnerability in others, but we really do not want to be vulnerable ourselves.  This is the story of my life.

Those people I look to as leaders and whose work I most cherish are very vulnerable.  They put themselves out there, expressing themselves to the world with reckless abandon.

One of my favorite quotes is from George Orwell's 1984 -- "What made it sit at the edge of the lonely wood and pour its music into nothingness?"  He was speaking of a bird that sang into the ruinous world he describes in the book. Why?  What is it that let's some sing and others hide?

Of course it is our own sense of worthiness that either allows or impedes our personal expression and growth.  This website is a way for me to enter the arena and introduce myself in a way I have not done before. 

This is the first draft of my website and I'm sure it will change and grow with time.  It is all very familiar to me and yet brand new at the same time!

I wish to thank my family and friends -- all of whom know who you are and why you are so important to me in this journey.
